Soul Rebel 365

Soul Rebel 365 extends beyond this trip and book project. The conclusion of this journey, and the ensuing book, will mark the beginning of the SoulRebel365 Organization, a non-profit organization targeting under-resourced kids and their access to education. Nearly 6.2 million students in the United States between the ages of 16 and 24 dropped out of high school in 2007. The numbers escalate dramatically when one factors in children worldwide who have no access to education. Poverty is making deep inroads in our communities and a lack of education only serves to perpetuate this disparity. We cannot ignore the fact that under-resourced children do not have access to books and standard school supplies – basic materials to enhance their learning. SoulRebel365 will focus on providing these kids, both in the United States and around the world, with books, school supplies, and tutoring. Denying our children access to education is denying them access to the weapon we need to combat poverty and inequality.
